Your title insurance policy protects the ownership interest in your property by defending your title and covering the cost of settling a covered insurance matter. 

Once the Purchase and Sale Agreement is signed the next step is for a title examination to be completed with the Registry of Deeds which is a service our office provides. After the title is determined to be clear, your loan will process and the legal documents will be prepared in anticipation of the closing date.

Closings take between 30-60 minutes to complete on the day of closing. A valid unexpired photo identification is required at closing.

Closing funds can be brought to closing by either a certified bank check or by wire transfer. Wire instructions will be sent by secure e-mail and will require a verbal phone call to confirm the instructions to prevent wire fraud.
